Gospel
The word Gospel is from the Anglo-Saxon "godspell", meaning good news. Ultimately the word comes from the Greek euangelion, also meaning good news. Gospel can mean the good news preached by Jesus, or the good news preached about Jesus! Gospels are not biographies. They are accounts of the life and teaching of Jesus, but they are also reflections on who Jesus is and what he means for the world.
Gospel Music
Music has always been an integral part of Christian worship.
It is one of the channels to proclaim the Gospel. It is not only a way to praise
and worship the Lord but it plays a vital role in creating an atmosphere to
experience the love and power of our Lord. Gospel Music is so powerful that when
it is played, the demons run away and the person who is in bondage is healed and
set free. Amen.
Whenever the spirit from God came upon Saul, David would take his harp and play.
Then relief would come to Saul; he would feel better, and the evil spirit would
leave him. (1 Samuel 16:23)
